Over 2 weeks and 5 locations YouthWorX NT delivered 5 successful expos in Darwin, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Nhulunbuy and Katherine with nearly 200 exhibitors and over 6000 attendees. The Career Expos provides a valuable opportunity for local students and job seekers to meet and engage with businesses, employers, training providers and education institutions, both local and international.

Careers and Skills Passport Competition - Each person attending the Expo recieved a Careers and Skills Passport on entry. They were required to go around and ask the exhibitors a relevant question to receive a sticker for their passport. Gapuwiyak Careers Day 2014

Students from Gapuwiyak School had lots of fun learning about local job opportunities and also got to have a behind-the-scenes look at some local businesses at the Gapuwiyak Careers Day on 24 September 2014.
The day was a collaboration between the School, YouthWorX NT and local employers and careers on offer included hospitality, education, health, retail, sport & rec, police and civil works.  The RJCP men and women’s groups also participated on the day, with students learning about sewing and hairdressing with the women’s group and fixing small engines with the men’s group.  It was a great day!
