COLLABORATION WITH

THE NATION'S BEST PROVIDERS

YouthWorX NT partners with eleven other providers in thirteen regions across Australia, to drive a consistent and collaborative approach to the delivery of youth transition services. It ensures these programs are delivered through the lens of Advantaged Thinking – to move away from deficit, disadvantaged or problem-focused thinking, towards jointly creating real jobs, real education, and real community connections.

How it Works

The National Youth Transitions  Community of Practice is a national network of youth services providers who are committed to working collaboratively – with the business sector, government, local communities and young people themselves – to find sustainable employment for young Australians experiencing disadvantage.

Why it Works

The Youth Transitions CoP Model offers young people what they most need to move into work: personal, social and practical employability skills, andopportunities to explore the world of work, build networks and gain the experience that employers value.

With our Community of Practice Model, we commit to working in a different way. We collaborate with local community agencies rather than competing with them, in order to test, improve and demonstrate a mutually beneficial model that moves young unemployed people into sustainable employment pathways.
