Social Practice Learning Hub
In January 2020 NT Industry Training Bureau created a new brand under the YouthWorX NT umbrella called the Social Practice Learning Hub (SPLH). The objective of the SPLH is to provide a holistic, coordinated approach to specialist training delivery for NT Government, education and social-sector professionals across the Northern Territory.
Territory Families Panel Contract
The inspiration and impetus for the SPLH arose from YouthWorX NT’s submission of a successful competitive tender application for a panel contract for the delivery of Territory Families training for a 5-year period.
The objective of the training is to ensure Territory Families employees have the requisite skills and knowledge to manage complex child protection, youth outreach and youth justice cases, and specialist training across a number of specialised areas.
YouthWorX NT will partner with three best-practice, interstate training organisations in the delivery of face-to-face specialist training in Darwin, Alice Springs, Tennant Creek, Katherine and Nhulunbuy. The SPLH’s specialist sub-contractor partners, Restorative Journeys, Life Business Consultancy, and the Trustee for We Al-li Trust (trading as We Al-li), all have a history of working with YouthWorX NT and share significant values-alignment with the organisation.
