WORK READINESS PROGRAMS
The Community Investment Committee (CIC) is a local collaborative group bringing together key stakeholders to create and strengthen pathways that intentionally support young people into meaningful jobs, now and into the future.
The CIC works in partnership with the local community and aims to harness community investment and expertise, adding value and strengthening existing efforts through a more coordinated and intentional focus to youth employment across the NT.
SCHOOL LEAVERS
When it’s time to leave school, it’s also time to plan your next steps – we understand that sometimes this can be a daunting process. Our programs for school leavers offer valuable services to help you achieve your goals and potential to prepare you for the world of work or further education.
YOUNG PEOPLE SEEKING WORK
The pressures of modern life and coping with ongoing challenges can make wanting to enter the workforce intimidating. Even if you have been out of school or work for a while, our programs will help you to find your confidence and identify your strengths.
NDIS PARTICIPANTS
As a specialist in offering programs for young people of all abilities, YouthWorX NT is proud to offer Encompass, a program specifically tailored for NDIS participants.
Your journey through the Encompass program will see you achieving positive steps toward your independence. We will tailor a personalised Encompass plan just for you – a plan that is centred upon your aspirations, needs and career goals. You will receive one on one coaching from one of our youth specialists, who will support you every step of the way. Workshops in 6 Life Areas will help you to build life skills, confidence and the capacity to live independently and have a voice.
PARENTS & SUPPORTERS
YouthWorX NT values the important role that parents, carers and supporters play in guiding young people through a smooth career transition. We will walk alongside you to help you understand the process and get the support that you need. We understand that providing career guidance can sometimes be challenging, so we will help you access solutions tailored to your needs and the individual pathway of your young person.

YouthWorX NT prides itself on listening to the needs of industry and the people we serve to develop fresh solutions. Our services are designed to meet gaps, compliment what already exists and to work in harmony with our community. For over 20 years we have forged strong relationships with industry to help fill skills gaps while maximising the chances of our young people succeeding in the workplace and society.
