SUSTAINABLE SOLUTIONS FOR THE NT
YouthWorX NT prides itself on listening to the needs of industry and the people we serve to develop fresh solutions. Our services are designed to meet gaps, compliment what already exists and to work in harmony with our community.
For over 20 years we have forged strong relationships with industry to help fill skills gaps while maximising the chances of our young people succeeding in the workplace and society. If your industry or workplace is looking at ways to diversify the workplace and grow your organisation, please get in touch to discuss opportunities and partnerships.
AT A GLANCE
- Negotiate partnerships between education providers and industry
- Ongoing support from our team
- Provide industry and business with work-ready job seekers
Industry Partnerships
Delivering Needs
The success of our programs is contingent on our participants being able to find jobs. This can only happen when the training provided actually fills a gap in demand. By working with industry, regional training organisations and leading organisations similar to YouthWorX NT, we have developed programs for skilling our participants and finding them careers in areas including:
- Electrotechnology
- Community Services
- Automotive
- Hospitality
Sustainable Employment
Our partnerships have seen YouthWorX NT programs have seen over 80% of our participants complete training and over 73% find ongoing employment. But lives cannot be measured by statistics. Our people learn to thrive, rather than just live. Some of the most at risk young people find purpose. Some of the most disadvantaged in our community have found a sense of pride for themselves and their community.
Community Outcomes
YouthWorX NT sees the potential in every person who enters our path. By empowering people to see themselves for their abilities and not their stereotypes, we give them the confidence to be the best they can be. This sees them become valuable employees who enrich the workplaces they join, improving societal outcomes that build a stronger, resilient Northern Territory. Our programs:
- Improve social cleavages
- Improve economic sustainability
- Make the NT more accessible and equitable for everyone
